not quite my tempo

The piece is inspired by Damien Chazelle’s Whiplash and critically examines the pressure placed on a performer. It questions how a performer shapes themselves in relation to the stage, audience, and choreography. Emerging from the interaction between performer, audience, and choreography, the work foregrounds the performer’s desires and instincts through improvisations structured by flexible scores. Like a wheel, it maintains a vivid mobility, continuously evolving beyond its previous versions.
