Movement Artist, Choreographer, Instructor based in Berlin / Istanbul
Born in Ankara/Turkey in 1997, Halil İbrahim Aygün a.k.a Raven is a freelance movement artist, choreographer, performer and instructor working across street and contemporary dance forms.
He graduated from Ankara University State Conservatory’s Modern Dance Department in 2022. He has worked with recognized artists and choreographers in the field, and has performed in international platforms such as Solo Contemporary Dance Festival, Fringe Istanbul, MDT Stockholm, and kaaistudios in Brussels, and additionally participated in the SIS Artist Residency. He also has experience in front-of-camera performance for film, television, and commercial productions. His performance practice follows a process-oriented and experimental approach, investigating bodily transformation through movement and focusing on the relationships between body, space, material, and audience, with the state of presence at its core.
Alongside his movement-based work, he takes on roles such as organization, stage management, and project coordination in various artistic productions, and produces visual and digital communication for artistic projects, including graphic, social media, and web design.
